London Times, Sept 13, JEWISH leaders have protested at the
Pope's proposal to canonise one of his predecessors, Pius XII, who
was accused of failing to denounce the Holocaust.
"To imagine that a man who sat in silence on the throne of St
Peter, watched the trains criss-cross Europe to take Jews to death
camps and never uttered a word against the Nazis should become a saint
would desecrate memories of the Holocaust," said Rabbi Marvin Hier,
head of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in Los Angeles.
The Pope has indicated that he wishes to proclaim Pius XII, John
XXIII and Paul VI saints in time for the millennium, when he will lead
an expected 30m pilgrims to Rome in celebrations to mark 2,000 years
of Christianity.
John Paul II has described the Italian Pius XII, who sought
refuge from the world in the Vatican cloisters, as "a great pope".
But angry critics say he failed to denounce anti-semitism during the
"final solution" of 1942-45 and should have excommunicated Hitler and
other Nazis.
Many Jewish leaders believe that Pius XII, a lawyer's son and
former papal ambassador to Germany, knew of the horrors perpetrated in
the concentration camps. He is said to have been told as early as May
1942 about the mass extermination of Jews.
Pius XII's defenders say he chose diplomacy, believing public
denunciations would spur the Nazis to more outrages. However, wartime
German archives contain diplomatic telegrams from the German
ambassador to the Vatican, praising the positive attitude of Pius XII
to Nazi Germany while the allies were pleading with him to take a
tough stand against it.
"If saintliness is next to godliness, then silence in the face of
evil is very far from godliness," said Elan Steinberg, executive
director of the World Jewish Congress.

A couple days ago a mailing went out suggesting to American
subscribers that they contact their Congressional representatives and
voice whatever might be on their hearts regarding this country's
current presidential scandal. Frankly, I've been surprised at the
"anger" expressed against that note by a few subscribers. As the Lord
has been placing a burden to address this whole thing, an e-mail this
morning from a non-American confirms the need for this. For Americans,
to "remember" this presidency and TRUTH. For non-Americans, to hear
things the "left-wing" media is not accurately portraying to you.
It was suggested that I should have said more about Nixon since I
portrayed him as having been a "basically good" president; since
apparently non-Americans are receiving the image that he was some sort
of "awful" person. (Yes, our media is trying to "remind" us of that
lie, too, and keep it ever "before" us!) Yes, he had his "Watergate"
problems. But let's not forget the good he did economically,
considering the times. Don't forget, he's the one who got the US out
of the Viet Nam fiasco. He was often wrongfully blamed "for" it (by
the likes of "Hanoi Jane"). But he inherited something his
predecessor had escalated, and he was stuck with the mess which he
cleaned up... "honorably." And was a highly respected "statesman" by
foreign powers. By comparison, a recent incident in England ought to
reveal our current president. Some luncheon was being attended and
someone stood, raised his glass, "To the Queen." Everyone, "To the
Queen." Then, an American stood and raised his glass, "To the
President of the United States." Everyone, "Snicker, snicker,
snicker." (related by Chuck Colson on "Breakpoint")
The "problem" with Nixon was that he was a "conservative" and spoke
out against the media's dishonesty and pro-Communist agenda. They did
not like him. So, while he "became" guilty as Watergate investigations
progressed, his resignation was a result of "media crucifixion." In
addition, his presidency was right during the height of communist
attempts to subvert this country (remember "Hanoi Jane" Fonda), and it
was the time of free-love, hippies, riots, and everything that went
with it. This current president is a "product" of those years. He was
a pot-smoking draft-dodger. (Oh, that's right...he "didn't inhale" did
he!) And you can be sure his current escapades are merely a
continuation of the immorality of those times. That maybe explains
why Hillary doesn't seem to be too affected by it all?? It's simply
part of the "lifestyle" that originated from those times. Remember?
"Free love!" The current revelations should not surprise us.
In addition, this presidency has incidents that have since been swept
under the rug, and "forgotten." Travel-gate, File-gate, campaign fund
abuses, and treasonous acts against the security of this country. His
political career also includes a list of over 46 people (as sent in
recently by a subscriber) who have "died mysteriously" while
associated in some manner with the Clintons. Friends, business &
political associates, drug dealers, body guards. And "executive
orders" for all sorts of things to strengthen the power of the
executive branch into "dictatorial status" during times of
crisis...thus, circumventing the intent of the Constitution which he
swore to uphold. This is the "peoples' business" he has been attending
to!
With that as introduction, let's get to the current "Good vs. Evil"
situation at hand.
As the media has been having quite a "festive" time over all this,
discussions include the president's "slut-novel" romps around the Oval
Office, his "contrition" and Ken Starr. One of the programs was ending
with Tim Russert expressing that, after the Prayer Breakfast, where
Clinton said he was a "sinner" and was "remorseful" over his acts,
after having "prayed about it" that morning; this "great wave of
forgiveness" was "sweeping across" Washington, DC; and then, it bumped
up against the Ken Starr report. By intimation..."bad" Ken Starr. Such
a "bad" report. In addition, Ken Starr "reads his Bible every
morning."
Let's review "this" briefly. Ken Starr was "appointed" to investigate
the Clintons. He was doing a "job assigned" to him. And let's not
forget..."how many" people have served prison time as a result of his
investigations since it all started. People in association with the
Clintons. People have died and gone to prison for this man...but we
haven't been able to get the person "at the top" of all the
corruption. Being attorneys themselves, the Clintons are too "clever"
to "get caught." Just like it was a "girl" who brought Peter down to
denying the Lord, it is taking a "girl" (by comparison) to bring this
president down.
So...is Ken Starr "bad" as portrayed? Is the doctor "bad" to whom you
go for an examination, and he finds you have cancer? He finds
cancer...therefore, "bad doctor" ...let's string him up! Ken Starr was
fulfilling the JOB he was HIRED TO DO. Obviously, his own life is
"clean" ...otherwise, you can be sure the media would be telling us
all about it. In surfing briefly, the only thing I found was a
tongue-in-cheek account of him "putting his foot over the line" in a
bowling tournament back in 1971. The only thing the media can say
about him is, "he reads his Bible every morning." And, truly, from
another biographical TV "special" on him several months ago, I
wondered to myself but what he might not be a true Born Again
Believer.
You see, we have another possible "Daniel" situation here. "We shall
not find any occasion against this Daniel unless we find it against
him concerning the law of his God." (Dan6:5) Daniel was in the habit
of, "he kneeled on his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave
thanks before his God.." (Dan6:10) This ended Daniel up in the lions'
den.
On the other side, we have a president, the most corrupt leader in
America's history. He's been caught in improprieties. So, as he gauges
the mood of "the people" he "adjusts" his level of contrition. "How
sorry must I be" to be accepted? And to the "preachers" he speaks of
"sin." But in the very same speech he speaks of using all the powers
available to him to defend himself against impeachment. Is "that" true
repentance? Many people are saying that he "has repented" and there is
no reason we shouldn't believe him and accept his contrition...and
forgive him. With "this man" there is plenty of reason to question his
words. His whole life is one big lie, and he changes his behavior to
suit the circumstances. He's been caught, now, he "needs to" [ACT]
"contrite."
Does a truly repentant person also "defend" and stand up for his "own
rights?" When the "prodigal son" returned to his father, he says, "I
am no more worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your
hired servants." (Lk15:19) A truly penitent person realizes he
"deserves" punishment. His only hope against the person inflicting
punishment is "be merciful to me a sinner." (Lk18:13) He realizes that
"You might be justified when You speak, and be clear when You judge"
and asks "Have mercy on me.." (Ps51:4,1) Such a one asks "Create in me
a clean heart.."(Ps51:10) NOT... "I have done no wrong..." as assumed
by mounting a legal defense.
When a person pretends to be sorry, and at the same time is mounting a
legal defense to claim "innocence" ...those are contradictory
statements. A person is never "sorry" for having been "innocent." His
actions (legal defense) speak louder than his words ("I'm sorry") His
words, thus, are lies.
However, there is something even more TO THE CORE in all of this. This
is not a case of, merely, a "president's improprieties" and "shall we
let him continue being president." More than any other, this president
has been termed the "peoples' president" who has been doing the
"people's business" ...the things the "people hired" him to do.
Truly, the "people" elected him. His first act when he took office was
to make sure sodomites have "rights" in the military. Various things
surfaced, and then were swept "under the rug" and he was re-elected
for another term. The "people" knowing full-well what "kind" of person
he is. When the media harps on the theme that this issue will be
resolved "by the people" via the "polls" ...they have actually hit the
nail square on the head.
The indictment against this president is, truly, against Bill Clinton.
But even more, it is against the "people" of this nation!
AMERICA! WAKE UP! IT IS JUDGMENT TIME!
Many "experts" in prophecy have speculated that "something" would
happen to remove America as a viable world-force when the end-time
events are fulfilled. While there are hints about how America might
fit into prophecy here or there...it is not mentioned directly. What
kinds of things could make such a "powerful" nation become impotent?
Well, it is just about there "now" ...witness its reluctance to
confront Saddam Hussein recently. There is no more "respect" left for
its "Commander-in-Chief" amongst its allies. And, in that, it is an
"American problem!"
An immoral nation will express their emotional support for its
immoral, corrupt president. And when the nation is needed in coming
crises, its leader is "caught with his pants down."
This nation calls "righteous" Ken Starr "evil" - and "corrupt" Bill
Clinton "good" ...and "forgiven" even though he has not TRULY
repented. When God pronounces "woe" to those who "call evil good and
good evil" what does "woe" mean? "Alas... passionate cry of grief or
despair." And in Scriptural context, it is expressed because of
impending doom and judgment.
America RIGHT NOW is in the final stages of what it has been, and what
it will become. As the world is just about to imminently "explode"
into final prophetic events, America will be embroiled in impeachment
considerations. Its president, a product of cold-war communist
expansionism, and Russia with newly appointed communist leader. Dear
reader: remember that one of the prime "features" of communism is
"atheism." Godlessness.
While I have not wanted to engage in "politics" like this from VW, I
was reminded that John the Baptist spoke out against King Herod and
his immorality. (Mt14:3-4) While "immorality" is what is titillating
everybody's senses right now, the issue is ever greater. Good vs.
Evil. Righteousness vs. unrighteousness. Yes, there has been a
"problem" but what are we going to do about it as a nation? Whom do
we follow? "In God we trust?" or, "every way of a man is right in his
own eyes.." (Pr21:2)
The outcome of these current events could likely be THE "deciding
factor" regarding God's judgment upon this nation! Right now it's
"ONLY" redeeming factor is its support of Israel. These are "pivotal"
times for America's future!
Israel was at a turning point in their history. Joshua exhorts, "And
if it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you
will serve.." the gods of self-esteem, self-righteousness, everyone
doing what is right in their own "private" eyes as long as it "feels
good".
"But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." (Josh 24:15)
AMERICA!!! WHOM WILL YOU SERVE???????

discussion group:
A minister on tour in Puerto Rico witnessed something odd,
"...he went to a local supermarket in Fajardo, and as he was
waiting his turn at the cashiers line there was a woman in
front of him that took her hand and swiped it over the
scanner. Instantly the purchase was rung up and the woman
given her receipt." The man approached and questioned her,
"The woman smiled and told him that she had an implant that
works just like an ATM or debit card. She said that there is
in Fajardo an American company that is conducting a test to
see if the human body will not reject the chip; and that as
far as she knew there were already six people in Fajardo with
the implant... "
What does Leading Edge know about the accuracy of this
report? What is the name of the "American company" doing the
research? Can you help me research this story?

PR is not a surprise. A couple years ago they first started

Dr. Daniel Man, a plastic surgeon who has a medical
practice in Boca Raton Florida holds a U S Patent on a
microchip implant very similar to the one developed by Dr.
Sanders, except Dr. Man's chip is surgically implanted
behind the ear. In an Associated Press interview Dr. Man
states in part " --- the technology behind today's
microchip is 'fairly uncomplicated" and with a little
refinement could be used in a variety of human
applications."
As noted above, Dr. Carl Sanders was the director of a
team of engineers whose original objective was to build an
electronic (bionic) bypass for a young lady who had a
severed spine. This team effort produced a number of
byproducts. One of those byproducts was a device that
could be used to affect behavior modification based on the
frequency of the microchip. This is one of several
byproducts that I am most interested in bringing to you
attention in this chapter.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
The original concept of a microchip implant that could
"only be read," like the bar code on a can of beans, by a
global positioning satellite (GPS), to determine the
geographical location of the thing or person into which it
was implanted, perhaps was a reasonable capability to
consider. That is, until you ask the question as to "WHO"
would control the reading device and for "WHAT" purpose(s)
it would be used and would the people have a "CHOICE" as
to whether to accept the implant or not. The extremely
rapid evolution of microchip technology over the past few
years and the "who will control and for what purpose"
question and the question of choice on the part of the
people, brings us to the present dilemma.
Much to the disbelief of the vast majority of the people,
we now have the capability of implanting, under the skin
on the back of the right hand, a microchip so small it
cannot be seen by the naked eye. In 1993, Sematech in
Austin Texas announced the development of a microchip that
was only 0.35 microns wide or roughly 1/200th the size of
a human hair.
Sematech designs and develops the equipment used by other
companies to actually manufacture these microscopic chips.
Just today, Tuesday 4 November 1997 this writer spoke with
a PR representative of Sematech, and was told that the
above 0.35 microns chip was OLD TECHNOLOGY. The circuitry
on that chip has long since been reduced in size even more
and is now down to 0.25 microns in size. What this really
means is that the processing power of the old 0.35 microns
chip has been increased by about 1/3. In other words we
can now do more with much less bulk.
In spite of its microscopic size this chip has the
capacity to store page upon page of personal information
about you, your general history, work history, crime
record, health history, financial data and much more. (Ref
Part I, paragraph 11). Given the fact that the information
noted above constantly changes, provisions must be made to
update that information on a regular basis. For example
when your address or work history changes your microchip
would require updating. Given that fact not only must the
microchip be capable of transmitting information it must
also be capable of receiving new information and
performing update routines. In other words the microchip
is actually a self-contained computer with its own power
source and as such can be reprogrammed.
As noted in my introduction at the top of this chapter, in
1995, as a Senior Test Plans Analyst one of my task was to
design a data collection and evaluation system for several
exotic electronic information gathering and transmitting
devices, being considered for use by the various military
departments.
One of those several devices was known as a Personal
Status Monitor (PSM) and while "packaged" for testing
purposes only, that device contained much of the same
technologies as the devices notes in Part I and Part II
above. The test package looked very much like, and was no
larger than an ordinary wristwatch. But by simple surface
contact with the soldiers skin on his wrist this device
would transmit to a satellite the actual geographical
location of the soldier and his "complete physiologic
status" even to the point of issuing a warning of
physiologic distress. All of this information could be
read by any number of monitors located any place in the
world. This technology has been reduce in size to the
point that it is only one of the many functions that can
be included in the microchip implant the federal
government want to implant in our school children.
It's important to keep in mind that the particular
microchip implant we are talking about in this paper is
the chip (PPID) the government wants to (and is)
implanting in our children. It's also important to keep in
mind the fact that this particular chip can be
reprogrammed via satellite, to influence the behavior of
the person into which it is implanted and this is the
capability the government really does not want to
publicize.
As you read about the capabilities noted above, keep in
mind that NASA reloads and reprograms the many functions
of the main computer on the MIR space station and also the
very tiny computers incorporated in the MARS Rover. You
have witnessed this any number of times recently on TV.
Also keep in mind that the computers on the Hubbel
Telescope are often reprogrammed to modify its
performance. Specifically keep in mind the recent
technological advances in the biomedical field, for
example artificial limbs that can be controlled by the
individuals own brain waves. Perhaps more importantly the
electronic microchip implanted in pedophiles that can
detect a penis erection and immediately counter that
erection by electronic means.
UNIVERSAL GOVERNMENT POPULATION (birth) CONTROL
Dr. Sanders also testifies; "It was determined that the
chip could be made to produce signals that in turn could
be used to control or stop the signal produced by the
pituitary gland that causes estrogen flow thereby inducing
instant menopause and thus prevent conception". Dr Sanders
indicates this capability was tested in India and several
other parts of the world.
We are well aware that the present administration is very
actively considering some means of government imposed
population control here in America. If you have any doubt
about that possibility you should go to

Under present legislation, most public schools can take
your young daughter to have an abortion, give her birth
control medication, subject her to psychological
reprogramming and a myriad of other things, without first
informing you the parent and without obtaining your
permission. Given that fact, who is to say that the
microchip implanted in your son or daughter, for
identification and tracking purposes, cannot and will not
be reprogrammed by the federal government, to render them
incapable of procreation, without their knowledge or
permission and also with your knowledge or permission???
Given the fact the microchip in question is invisible to
the naked eye and can easily pass through the opening of a
very small hypodermic needle, and can be mixed in with
another medication and injected at the same time who's to
say, it is not now and will not in the future, be
implanted in our children without their knowledge or the
parents knowledge or permission.
The present administrations policy of enacting legislation
giving local school clinics, TOTAL and ABSOLUTE control
over WHEN and WHAT they can do to the children without
first informing and without obtaining the parents
permission, makes the availability of this microchip
implant is a very deadly threat to our children.
We could spend hours and many pages pointing out
micro-technologies like the few noted above. However we
think that perhaps you are already well aware of many or
perhaps most of them.

Except for the idea of allowing this nation's laws, and her
people, to render judgement; In hopes that both might honor
The Laws of God Almighty (which, I can't imagine either of
these things happening); I agree with what you have written in
your previous post.
However, I contend that America's churches have insulted
The Lord Of Hosts in a far more egregious manner than has
her President, Bill Clinton.
Moreover, while Bill Clinton will ultimately be Judged by our
Lord and Savior Jesus, The Risen Christ; America, as a
nation, will soon be Judged by The Lord Of Hosts. And, in
view of this undeniable fact, I ask that you likewise take time
to at least TRY to turn our churches around, in hopes of
heading off The Lord's Judgement on our nation, because of
the false doctrines that are now pouring out of our churches.

On the eve of the 20th anniversary of the September 17, 1978 Camp
David Accords between Israel and Egypt, the Israel Government Press
Office (GPO) is releasing a special report today concerning
anti-Semitism and Holocaust denial in the official Egyptian press.
The report contains political cartoons and excerpts from articles
which have appeared in the Egyptian press in recent months. To obtain

The report notes that the 1979 Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty states, "The
Parties shall seek to foster mutual understanding and tolerance and
will, accordingly, abstain from hostile propaganda against each
other." (Article 5 (3) of Annex III) Despite two decades of peace,
anti-Semitic themes permeate the official Egyptian media.
Four recurrent themes are discernible: classic anti-Semitic
stereotypes, comparisons of Israel with the Nazis, denial of the
Holocaust, and traditional libels.
The official Egyptian media repeatedly questions the extent of the
Holocaust and accuses Jews of inflating the number of victims to
pressure Western countries. It also equates Israel with the Nazis and
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with Adolf Hitler.
Newspaper articles refer to Jews as "swindlers" and "tricksters".
Political cartoons depict Israel as the "ugly Jew", bearing a
remarkable likeness to the stereotype in the Nazi Der Stuermer.
Israel is accused of spreading AIDS and other diseases in Arab
countries, and of attempting to foment civil war in Egypt. After the
terrorist attack at Luxor, in which 60 tourists were killed, the
Egyptian media sought to implicate Israel in the attack.

----- II. ISRAELI HISTORY IN PALESTINIAN HANDS

The extent to which the authors of the Oslo Accords viewed the Jewish
presence in Judea, Samaria and Gaza as temporary can be seen from the
example of Tel Rumeida. On the one hand, Tel Rumeida, ancient Hebron,
appears on the list of important Israeli sites which have been
transferred to Palestinian control. But on the other hand, Jews
actually live at the site. The meaning is clear. Since all of Tel
Rumeida is an archaeological site, the Labor government effectively
conceded the possibility of future development or construction at the
site. After all, it would be unthinkable for the Palestinians to
accept a "rescue" excavation -- certainly not for the sake of
developing the Jewish community there.
The Hebron Accord left the situation unchanged; civilian authority in
H2, which includes Hebron's Jewish community, remains in Palestinian
hands. Thus, when excavations began at Tel Rumeida last month -- in
order to enable the construction of an army facility to protect the
Jewish residents -- the Palestinians objected, claiming a violation of
both the Oslo and Hebron Accords. As a consequence of these protests,
the excavations were repeatedly halted and renewed. Meanwhile, during
the excavations, a number of undamaged Middle and Late Bronze Age
artifacts, beads and rings were found.
4,000 different sites
The ruins of approximately 1,500 rural and urban centers, dating from
the Neolithic to the Ottoman periods, can be found throughout Judea,
Samaria and Gaza. In addition, there are over 4,000 additional sites,
from wine presses to graveyards, in these areas. Many of these
locations relate to the history of the Jewish people in its land, from
the time of its conquest and settlement in the 12th century BCE. It
should be noted that over 90% of the places mentioned in the Bible are
located in Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
When the Oslo Accords were signed, Israel and the PLO symbolically
left archaeology as the last topic for discussion; after all, despite
the marginal influence of archaeology on daily life in the State of
Israel, there is nothing which better expresses the unprecedented
concession of a national homeland than surrendering the places which
formed its character.
In the article of the Oslo Accords which is devoted to archaeology,
Israel effectively concedes its right to all the archaeological sites
in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, except for a small, symbolic list of sites
important to Israel -- which also maintains the right to add
additional sites to the list during future withdrawals. In practice,
however, Israel has no practical authority over the sites, and is
totally dependent upon the goodwill of the Palestinians. The list
remains accurate through the last withdrawal from Areas A and B, and
mainly includes ancient synagogues (such as those in Jericho, Gaza,
Eshtamoa and Maon), and the tombs of important people, such as those
of the Prophet Natan and Gad the Seer in Halhoul and Joshua's
gravesite in Kifel Hares.
A number of crude errors were made in the list as a result of poor
preparation. A case in point are the Maccabean palaces on the
southern and northern banks of Wadi Qelt. How can the fact that
Israel conceded the north-east section of the palaces be explained?
It would have been simple to deflect Jericho's Area A border a few
dozen meters to the east. The same question can be asked about Tel
a-Nazba, which is near the checkpoint in southern Ramallah, and is
identified as an observation post in the book of Samuel.
Beyond the neglect of such sites, the Tel a-Nazba instance also
demonstrates a lack of security consideration. According to the IDF's
working plan, Tel a-Nazba -- the highest peak overlooking the southern
approaches to Al-Bireh and Ramallah -- was supposed to have served as
a military outpost. The IDF viewed this as an asset, especially in
the event of a possible outbreak of violence, such as occurred after
the Western Wall Tunnel was opened in September 1996. For some
reason, despite being an important security factor and an
archaeological site, and in spite of the IDF's plans, someone marked
Tel a-Nazba as Palestinian Authority property.
At the request of the Jewish residents of Tekoa and as a result of
pressure from the Civil Administration staff officer responsible for
archaeology in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, the sites of Herodian, Mount
Gerizim and Nebi Samuel were kept, at the last moment, in Israeli
hands.
Another mistake was Israel's volunteering to include Samaria/Sebastia,
Israel's capital dating back to King Omri, in Palestinian territory --
even though the location actually lies outside the PA. It appears
that, given the "new Middle East" atmosphere at the signing of the
Oslo Accords, it was not particularly important to Israel's
representatives whether some site would be included within the State
of Israel or not.
It can most bluntly be said that, on the various maps of Israeli
interests (as prepared by both the previous and current governments),
primary attention was given to the issues of security and settlement.
Painfully, Jewish heritage is no longer "in" -- neither in the country
at large, nor among Israel's decision-makers. As such, the fate of
two key areas in Jewish history now lies in the hands of the
Palestinians, and visits at these sites are contingent upon their
goodwill.
There are two synagogues in Jericho: "Shalom Al Israel", named after
the Hebrew text included in a mosaic at the site, and "Na'aran", near
Ein Diuk.
The two synagogues were built during the Byzantine period, and appear
on
the list of important archaeological and historical sites attached to
the Oslo Accord.
A yeshiva functions at the "Shalom Al Israel" synagogue from Sunday to
Thursday. On Friday, study groups arrive from the Merkaz Harav
yeshiva in Jerusalem. Residents of Shadmot Mehola, Ofra, Beit-El,
Ma'aleh Adumim and Michmas also hold early morning prayers there.
The mood of the Palestinian guards
Orna Kobus of Ofra periodically organizes cultural activities.
Despite the considerable activity at the site, the Jewish presence is
always conditional. For example, Jews are not allowed to enter when
there is a fear of riots. In recent weeks, due to a misunderstanding,
prayers have not been permitted in the synagogue itself; in fact, such
misunderstandings depend on the mood of the Palestinian guards -- and
there has already been an incident in which a Palestinian guard aimed
his loaded weapon at Jewish worshippers.
Activity at the synagogue in Na'aran is more limited and centers
around organizing Sabbath retreats at the nearby Camp Noam; overnight
stays at Na'aran are prohibited. The mosaic floor discovered there,
which was renovated when Israel controlled the site, is beginning to
disintegrate. Despite official Israeli appeals to repair the mosaic --
obviously, at Israel's expense -- these requests have not been
granted, which will undoubtedly lead to the complete destruction of
the site. The Palestinians are thus in clear violation of the Oslo
Accords, since they are obligated "to protect such sites and to
prevent damage to them."
In fact, it can be said that the Palestinians are not complying with
most of Oslo's archaeology-related articles. The joint committee of
experts which was supposed to cooperate on the issue has met just a
few times and, over the past year, it has effectively ceased to exist.
Despite the fact that the Palestinians committed to respect academic
freedom and to provide permits for archaeological excavations, not a
single Israeli researcher has actually received a permit to dig in the
Palestinian-ruled areas.
Despite the commitment to prevent damage to archaeological sites as a
result of construction and development, the Palestinian Authority
regime of fear and favoritism -- which also lacks skilled manpower --
is preventing this promise from being kept. If a distant cousin of
Jibril Rajoub were interested in building a house at Tel a-Nazba in
Ramallah, no official would dare prevent him from doing as much.
The Sinai excavations precedent
But it is the non-fulfillment of the articles prohibiting the theft
of, and traffic in archaeological artifacts which constitutes the
worst damage to sites in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Even during the
period when Israel controlled the entire area, theft and vandalism
were rampant -- as manifestations of anti-Israeli activity -- but at
least there was then a fear of the Civil Administration inspection
unit, which occasionally registered significant success in
apprehending those stealing and trafficking in antiquities.
Today, it can clearly be said that many Palestinian families make
their living from stealing and trading antiquities -- by digging at
ancient sites, extracting archaeological finds worth a great deal of
money (including coins, undamaged earthenware, marble columns and
stones with inscriptions) and selling them to interested parties in
Israel.
In this manner, not only are the sites slowly being emptied of their
contents, but there is less chance of someone eventually conducting a
scientific excavation, given the great destruction that the thieves
generally leave in their wake.
Meanwhile, there is one article of the agreement that the Palestinians
insist be implemented. According to this stipulation, "with due
consideration to the Palestinian demand that Israel shall return all
archaeological artifacts found in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip
since 1967, this issue shall be dealt with in the negotiations on the
final status."
The Palestinian demand to receive all the artifacts is based upon the
precedent by which all the archaeological artifacts from the Sinai
excavations were returned to Egypt. A reading of the article would
seem to indicate that authors intended to give these archaeological
artifacts to the Palestinians as part of the permanent settlement.
Despite the reality in which the Palestinians are violating most
relevant articles, it appears that Israel will not prevent them from
getting their way.
The fact that mainly the urban centers were given to the Palestinians
during the first phase of the Oslo Accords has caused a smaller amount
of ruins and ancient settlements to be handed over thus far, since the
large sites are generally located outside present-day, Palestinian
urban centers.
From this standpoint, the planned 13% second withdrawal is serious
for
three reasons:
1. It will include key sites.
2. It will include more sites than all previous withdrawals, since at
issue is mainly the hand-over of open areas surrounding the urban
centers. 3. The difference between sites inside urban centers and
those in open areas is also expressed in the degree of antiquities
theft. While it is more difficult to steal artifacts in view of
passers-by, theft is far easier in open areas, and more massive
destruction of the sites is expected.
It has arisen from inquiries that, if another withdrawal is made, the
sad picture of a lack of consideration for the ancient sites is liable
to repeat itself. The government is investing no effort in the
matter. Nobody knows how the map of the coming withdrawal will look,
but there is a general picture -- and nevertheless, reliable sources
have said that no staff work on the archaeological sites has
commenced.
It is difficult to shake the impression that this is not the product
of a mistake or neglect on the part of the previous government,
paramount to the abandonment of archaeological sites, but rather an
intentional move consistent with that government's secular political
philosophy. After all, when the Jewish people becomes detached from
the landscape of its birth, its link to the land, to religion and to
Jewish tradition will in any case be broken.

generations and increase their general detachment from Judaism, from

The Civil Administration is embarrassed by these findings, since these
allegations are well-founded -- in light of the Labor government's
excessive willingness to make concessions, as expressed in the
agreements. In the end, the Civil Administration was able to make this
redeeming statement: "Archaeological excavation is also part of the
IDF's security operations, and security is Israel's responsibility."
This is a precedent-making assertion which may yet be evoked at
important sites in the future. Of course, this will depend on the
level of interest and concern displayed by the right-wing government
of Netanyahu, who has often declared his affection for the historic
antiquities of the Jewish people.

Well, I have to say something lest it appear that I'm a rational
human being. <g>
First of all, it's impossible to judge the validity of anyone's
argument when both sides are smothered in racism. To defend
either camp is futile. So I won't do it.
However, having said that, please do not think I am so naive
as to believe that Israel is without sin and her own prejudices.
Actually, it's because of her sin that she has been punished
and tortured all throughout history. But what's the point of
disputing the number of Jews killed when God said that Israel
would experience these very things? What's the point of
disputing that little piece of land that rightfully belongs to her as
outlined in God's Word? Our energy can be better spent
elsewhere.
When we (Moza and myself) post the conflicts and war of
words that occur between Israel and the Palestinians, it's to
show that God's Word is true. We don't do it to take sides, for
the age-old conflicts between them was foretold by God at
the birth of Ishmael. Nevertheless, countless people (including
Christians) are becoming ensnared in hate. This is nothing
new either, since this is also foretold in the Bible.
God will judge Israel harshly. He doesn't need me to do it for
Him in the meantime. Instead, I will pray for Israel's salvation
that she as a nation will turn her face towards God.

Hi guys...
I wanted to share with you something that I find very interesting.
I've been reading from the book "Foreshocks of Antichrist."
This book is by several different authors (Arno Froese, John
Walvoord, Grant Jeffrey, Chuck Missler, et al) who share their
insights on current trends that they believe are setting the
stage for the anti-Christ. The particular topic that this message
deals with comes from an article by Grant Jeffrey.
I outlined various parts of the chapter to Moza last night in an
email message, and I thought I would just share that with you
instead of re-writing it again. This particular section deals with
the Three Visions of Fatima. For those not familiar with what
that is, briefly it is where supposedly an apparition or vision of
Mary appeared to some children in Fatima, Portugal over a 5-
month period. There were six such visions in total where the
children were given three secret messages. Moza is more
knowledgeable about the history and the significance of this
event. And if you all are interested, perhaps she can give more
detail later. (Uhhh, right Moza? <g>)
Let me say up front, that I do not believe that the visions these
children supposedly saw are of God. There are just too many
biblical contradictions for that to be the case. If indeed the
children were witnessing an apparition of Mary, then I am led to
believe that it is Satanic in nature - a trick or scheme of Satan
to steer people away from God and His Son, and more towards
Mary and what she supposedly is instructing. This is just my
personal opinion. There's no need for anyone to argue that
with me.
Now, having said that however, the reason I find this topic
interesting is that apparently the pope's agenda is heavily
influenced by these visions. In other words, the pope is trying
to fulfill the instructions that are contained in the Third Secret
of Fatima.
The Third Secret is still not completely known. It is reasoned
that it does, however, contain information related to political
and military concerns that will pop up at the end of this
millennium. One of the warnings that the message gives is that
if the instructions are not carried out, then the world will see
wars, earthquakes, floods, and major catastrophic events as
judgments from God for having failed in fulfilling the
requirements of the Third Secret. A devastating war is
forewarned that will virtually wipe out the entire human race,
except for a small remnant of people. However, all of this can
be averted if the pope will "consecrate" Russia to the Virgin
Mary.
Here are some other interesting portions from the chapter:
1. Malachi Martin (like the second-hand man to the pope I
suppose?) has written a book - "The Keys of this Blood" -
which outlines the pope's political and religious agenda for the
future.
2. Interesting thingie here about the dates: the visions began
on May 13, 1917. John Paul II was shot on May 13, 1981.
During his recovery, the pope studied the fatima message and
a year later, on May 13, 1982 held a special service where he
"consecrated the world to Mary" with special mention of
Russia in an attempt to fulfill the demands of the vision. May
13th seemed to be a popular date huh?
3. Two previous popes before John Paul would not carry out
the instructions of the third vision. Supposedly they were
fearful that the West was vulnerable to Communism at the time and
that if Russia knew what the third vision said, then that would
accelerate Russia's plans to dominate the world through
communism.
4. John Paul II believes his personal destiny is to rule over the
Catholic Church during the crisis described in the Third Secret.
5. Malachi Martin says the pope is waiting for a miraculous
intervention from heaven "that will stun the world with its
display of supernatural power." He believes that a miraculous
appearance of Mary will occur in the future in "connection with
a spectacular astronomical event involving the sun." In other
words, he's waiting for the woman "clothed with the sun"
event to occur. This will be a "global apparition" that will
astonish the world. According to the pope, when this
phenomenon occurs, he believes he will be given the religious
authority to create a new religious renaissance and rule over a
new church/state world government.
6. The pope also believes that the prophecy of Saint Malachi
foretells that he is presiding over the last days of his church.
John Paul II feels that he will be the last pope who follows the
teachings of Christ. The next pope to come will abandon such
teachings and grow in apostasy. He believes that upon his
death, the next pope chosen will not uphold historic christianity.
7. Saint Malachi said there will be 111 popes following Pope
Celestine who died in A.D. 1146. John Paul II is #110, whose
poetic name is "De labore soils." Pope #111 is "Glorioe
Olivoe" and will call himself Pope Peter II of Rome. The final
pope will come from Italy and will take his position in the last
days of this century.
I just touched upon the basics here. Feel free to ask questions
or bring up other points for discussion.

SOUTH AFRICA HAS 350,000 WITCH DOCTORS - A South African
government-proposed code of conduct for its 350,000 witch doctors
would classify traditional healers into four categories: herbalists,
diviners, birth attendants and surgeons (9/3 Alabama Baptist). Up to
80 percent of South Africans are estimated to at some point consult a
witch doctor. New Age shamanism is on the rise in the U.S.
MORE GUNS, LESS CRIME - In a book by this title, John R. Lott Jr.
details why gun-control laws don't work. Much of his study comes from
FBI files. In areas over the country where average citizens can easily
carry guns, criminals are less likely to attempt violent crimes
because they don't want to risk getting blown away-especially when
concealed weapons are plentiful (9/5 World). Stricter gun controls
only open the door to more attacks on innocent people. Criminals like
helpless victims. A gun owner is less likely to be helpless. Where
guns are common, a crook is more likely to try car theft or larceny
than rape or robbery.
ROCK SINGER AMY GRANT - Amy Grant was the first contemporary Christian
artist to earn a gold album for sales of over 500,000. But her lyrics
have become increasingly secular, per the 8/20 Ala. Baptist: "Where
she once discussed her relationship with God, she now focuses on her
relationships with other people and herself."
WORLD REVIEWER DIDN'T WARN OF PROFANITY - World magazine (9/5), caught
a lot of deserved flak for movie reviewer Chris Stamper's review of
Saving Private Ryan in its Aug. 8 issue. He noted that the movie was
rated R for violence and gore, but failed to mention the profane
language. Readers objected to the "air turned blue" language, and one
said the film "contains many uses of the "F" word. World often has
good articles, but intermixes bad and good. Why would it praise and
favorably review even the "good meat" from Hollywood's garbage can?
THE Y2K SCARE - The "Millennium Bug" or "Y2K" (short for "Year 2000")
problem is the inability of many computer systems, using 2-digit
dates, to differentiate between year 2000 and year 1900. Some predict
chaos, and societal collapse near Jan. 1, 2000. We are told the
Internet is abuzz with scare-narios, and, indeed we as Christians
should be concerned as the time approaches, but not panic. Extreme
fear itself could become a greater problem than Y2K. There is the
potential for world chaos, that governments may use this as a pretext
for suspending civil liberties and creating police states. Stockpile,
if you wish (canned/dried foods, flashlights, firewood, matches,
etc.), but let's trust our God, use common sense, and not help dire
predictions become self-fulfilling prophecies.
BROWNSVILLE 'REVIVAL' AT PENSACOLA - ACCC Exec. Sec'y Dr. Ralph Colas
recently attended an AWAKE AMERICA! crusade at Penn State University,
led by the Brownsville Assembly of God staff of "Pensacola Outpouring"
fame (see 3/15/97 CC). He has prepared a Special Report on this
meeting, attended by over 12,000 charismatics. Pastor John Kilpatrick,
Evangelist Stephen Hill, and Worship Leader Lindell Cooley were the
featured personalities. Dr, Colas wrote: "About 20 ministers were on
the platform as the crusade began. As the loud, syncopated music
filled the auditorium many of the pastors began to dance, hop, and
jump all over the platform. The 'worship music session' lasted almost
two hours, and many of those in attendance stood for the entire time.
The shaking, dancing, swaying, and jumping was not limited to the
young people." Speaking in tongues, shaking and falling were hardly
uncommon. Get Dr. Colas's Special Report from the American Council of
Christian Churches, P.O. Box 5455, Bethlehem, PA 18015. A small
offering would be appreciated and help underwrite such vital research.
HORROR OF AIDS IN BLACK AMERICA - Because of the widely held and
documented connection between AIDS and homosexuality-the latter of
which is derided as sinful and immoral by influential leaders of black
churches-helpful talk about AIDS prevention and treatment rarely, if
ever, emanates from the pulpit. The correlation between AIDS and drug
abuse is another tangible reason for the spread of AIDS in the
community. The black writer of this article we're quoting, from the
9/13 Huntsville Times, says: "Over 641,000 men, women and children in
America have contracted AIDS, and 385,000 have died." He said: "The
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently reported that
while blacks comprise just 13 percent of the U.S. population, we now
account for 57 percent of new HIV infections. A whopping 82 percent of
HIV-positive women ages 13-24 are black and Hispanic."
HAGIN'S STRANGE TEACHINGS - Kenneth Hagin says he died at age 15, went
to hell and was brought back to life. He claims that Jesus has
appeared to him eight times and talked with him (4/15/96 CC). Hagin
rejects historic Christianity. He is "father" of the word-faith and
positive-confession movements. David Cloud characterizes Hagin's
unscriptural "spirit slaying" phenomenon as demonic and says people
have fallen into trances at his meetings (O Timothy). He says "Hagin
tells of a woman who danced off a platform and levitated in the air
while she was 'dancing in the Spirit.'" Cult-watcher Hank Hanegraaff
has compared Hagin and protege Kenneth Copeland to "wolves in sheep's
clothing," and described their movement as being as heretical as the
Mormon Church.
NCC HEAD SUPPORTS CLINTON - Although she is not his pastor, National
Council of Churches Gen. Sec'y Joan Brown Campbell, in her "pastoral
response" to Pres. Clinton's immorality, says we should all feel sorry
for him and remember how understanding God is! (9/12 World). She then
puts her imprimatur on Clinton's key argument: "Our long experience in
pastoral care has taught us the wisdom of protecting personal life
from public display," she says. "I hope that, as a nation, we are now
learning that truth. The private lives of our public leaders are best
left private or we will have none allowed to lead." Sin has serious
consequences and God is not so "understanding" that he overlooks it
and lets it go unpunished. Lying, immorality, and many other crimes or
sins which occurred in a taxpayer-supported workplace were not
"private." Campbell is very "un-Nathan-like."
SCHULLER TO OPEN A FOOD COURT - Robert H. Schuller 40 years ago
popularized a "drive-in church." Then in 1980 he opened his 12-story
glass and steel Crystal Cathedral with its 10,000 glass panes. He
plans in 2000 to open a 50,000-square-foot food court and offer meals
and snacks after church services (9/7 H.T.). We hope this food is

ECUMENICAL SPEAKER AT SBC SCHOOL - James R. Torrance, professor
emeritus of Systematic Theology at the Univ. of Aberdeen (Scotland),
will present the 10th annual Reformation Heritage Lectures Oct. 27-29
at Samford University's Beeson School of Divinity (9/10 Ala. Baptist).
Torrance has been chairman of the Joint Commission on Doctrine of the
Church of Scotland and the Scottish Roman Catholic Church, and of the
British Council of Churches' Commission on the Trinity, and of the
international conversations between the World Alliance of Reformed
Churches and the Lutheran World Federation. Sadly, this speaker's
liberal links are but one more indication that the Southern Baptist
Convention is still far from being a conservative Baptist body!
LYONS TAKES A CUE FROM CLINTON - Taking a cue from President Clinton,
embattled National Baptist Convention USA president Henry Lyons begged
his church's forgiveness for an "improper relationship" with a
convention employee. He was indicted July 2 on several federal
charges, but NBCUSA board member E.V. Hill has said, "If his boat
sinks, I will be the last to jump off."
WORLD CHURCH CONTEST - The World Council of Churches is an agent of
Satan and promotes his lies. By its ecumenical movement, it seeks to
build a one world super church. The WCC would like to be the
dominating force to unite all religions into such a conglomerate body
(8/98 Servant). But Islam, Romanism, pagan religions and New Agers are
very much in the competition to bring about the great harlot church of
the Antichrist. Interfaith dialogue, postmodernism, and universalism
are also factors for consideration in this great contest. A proposed
Presbyterian catechism says Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and others might
be destined for [heaven]. The Pope and others have proposed something
similar.

Potter examines Rick Warren's methods and teachings from his book, The
Purpose Driven Church. (See 6/15 CC). Warren's book is endorsed by
Robert Schuller, Bill Bright, Fuller Seminary Prof. Archibald Hart,
and by U. Methodist Ezra Earl Jones, with Foreword by W. A. Criswell.
Potter lists some philosophical and theological flaws, and other
problems. He says: "Market driven ministry is a cancer that will
eventually lead to unbelief because it caters to the unbeliever."

POSTMODERNISM - For postmodernists, truth is merely a "construction"
by the culture or individual. Truth is relative. What is true for me
may not be true for you (9/12 World). Postmodernism represents a
growing rejection of rational empiricism, science, and Christian
absolutes, or any objective truth. Relativism and one's experience or
feelings is the basis of personal truth in postmodernism. (9/98
Watchman Expositor). According to surveys, 86% of Americans claim to
be "Christian," yet 72% reject the notion of absolute truth, 61%
reject a literal Satan or hell, and 40% believe in a New Age
(pantheistic) view of God.
DON'T DELAY DEALING WITH ERROR - When unbelievers try to sway any
fellowship away from God's Word, true believers must insist that they
repent or leave. If they allow the evil to gain sufficient strength to
force "dialogue" over clear scriptural matters, they will have already
lost the battle. Either cast them out immediately, or risk having to

But if error is already entrenched, Spurgeon said: "As soon as I saw,
or thought I saw, that error had become firmly established, I did not
deliberate, but quitted the body at once. Since then my one counsel
has been, "Come ye out from among them."
SINFUL SILENCE - When a person or group that claims to be Christian
seriously departs from historical biblical doctrines of orthodox
Christianity, one should not stand idly by in silence (Tit. 1:9-11).
To not speak would be dishonoring to God and unloving to both the
propagators and the hearers of the error (7/98 Vantage Point). A
silent watchman is more dangerous than no watchman because people feel
a sense of security if they think a watchman is on duty. God called
pastors of Judah "blind watchmen" and said "they are all dumb dogs,
they cannot bark" (Isa. 56:10). He did not accuse them of false
doctrine, only of sleeping when they should have been warning (9/1/95
CC).

The following report was obtained in a Rosh Hashanah
interview conducted with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu
and journalists of the world Jewish media, September 14, 1998.
Israel Wire correspondent Yisrael Medad submitted the report.
Enunciating his words forcefully, Israel's Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu warned that if the PLO Authority (PA) was
contemplating a unilateral declaration of statehood in May
1999, that move would be a 'total and gross violation' of the
Oslo Accords.
In doing so, he said, Israel would be released from its
commitments and would contemplate its own unilateral action.
Netanyahu reiterated his non-negotiable demand that Yassir
Arafat uphold complete reciprocity in such areas as the
invalidation of the PLO Covenant, extradition of murderers,
ceasing hostile propaganda and reducing the size of the PA
security services. "If they have the political will, they'll receive
100%; if not, they will receive nothing," he summed up.
Admitting that the main fault with the Oslo Accords was the
lack of symmetry whereby Israel's contributions to peace, the
yielding of territory, were irreversible while the Palestinians'
contributions were very much reversible, Netanyahu termed
the accords "no bargain, a flawed deal".
Pressed to respond to the criticism voiced by his supporters
that he should have rejected the Oslo Process, Netanyahu
stated that international agreements had to be maintained as a
matter of principle.
Nevertheless, Netanyahu pointed out that there is "no road
map in the Oslo Accords that would shape the final status
negotiations." This reality was his only hope that his
government would eventually find a way to provide Israel's
citizenry with peace and security because "the nature and the
outcome of those final status negotiations are open."
Netanyahu revealed that the mechanics of the most recent
round of talks has concentrated on an "interwoven" process
of three phases to be completed over three months. He
stipulated that Israel would not proceed if in each phase, the
PA did not fulfill its obligations 100%.
"We are closer to an agreement, more than we were two
months ago," he said, but it was the PA which "backtracked."
He claimed that as a result, "we have had to rework that
ground."
The Americans, Netanyahu pointed out, "perfectly
understand" that it was the PA refusal to honor and carry out
their commitments that caused the current breakdown.
America will be involved in overseeing PA commitments such
as confirming that Palestinians are fulfilling the terms of their
incarceration.
"When we come to the final status talks, Israel will never yield
on our rights to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the Machpela
Cave in Hebron and Rachel's Tomb in Bethlehem."
Expressing surprise that the question was asked, Netanyahu
emphasized that "Israel's attachment to these bed-rocks of our

Hi BANDS....
I wasn't implying anything as far as a scriptural interpretation
goes. I was merely showing that supposedly in front of the UN
building in NY that there is a white horse eerily similar to what
Rev 6:1-2 describes. I personally find that interesting, and
thought the other list members would as well.
Nevertheless, I believe I'm correct when I say that a majority of
bible commentators agree that the white horse rider is a picture
of the global promise of peace that the anti-Christ will bring in
his attempt to control the world. I also believe however that
that doesn't mean that just because the majority of bible
scholars agree to a particular interpretation that that makes it
so. (man, that sentence has a lot of "thats" in it. <g>)

that this rider is Jesus. The other three horses are not the Lord either,
so contextually we have an insight. The bow represents strength, stealth,
and secrecy (since it was given unto him, whereas the Lord would simply
take the bow Himself). In time frame this is not the second coming when
the Lord Jesus returns; rather, it is during the tribulation when the
pseudo-Christs come forth in unglorious manifestation, deceiving many.
I would urge you also to research again, and see whether these things are
so. Also, based on your statements above "I can clearly demonstrate...,"
I would like to see such scriptural proof posted herein.

Hi there Tom... I agree with you interpretation of the first seal.
I would also like to add that an interesting historical "type"
(like Antiochus is a "type" of anti-Christ) of this seal perhaps is
pictured in the life of Constantine, first "Christian" Roman
Emperor of Rome. Through Constantine we have the
organization of religion and government linked into one body
within the Roman Empire.
I'm sure many are aware of the "sign" he saw in the sky of a
burning cross with the words "by this sign shalt thou conquer."
When Constantine's father died, Constantine's troops
proclaimed him emperor. This reign was later questioned
however in a series of battles. The correlation between these
events and the first seal is interesting. I'm not suggesting that
Constantine fulfilled the First Seal. Just that it is an historical
"type." I believe these types give us some insight into how the
complete fulfillment of events will occur.

The Lamb is opening the seals. How can the Lamb both open the seals
and be in the seals? Of course, God CAN do anything, but that's not
the way He works.
Rev 6:2 And I [John] saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat
on him [not the Lamb] had a bow.
Now, if this was anyone else but John, I would say that maybe the
person on the horse was Jesus, but John knew very well what Jesus
looked like, so why didn't he identify him?
...and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and
to conquer.
Jesus doesn't need anyone to give him a crown--he's the king, and
he's already conquered everything.
I think these 4 horses correlate to the ones in Zechariah 6:1-8 where
an angel explains that "These are the four spirits of the heavens,
which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth."
Another interesting thing about the Zechariah horses is that
they go in specific directions with the white ones going north.

Tom, I too have no desire to argue. The Lord has given me the Discernment of the
subject Seven Seals, and I can find no reason to argue with any man, pertaining to
that which The Lord has told me.
You, on the other hand, are asking me to do research on the subject. And, although
I see no need to question that which the Scriptures obviously say: On the other
hand, you have offered not one verse of Scripture to support any of that which you
have stated.
Moreover, you would NOT be arguing, by any act to provide Scriptures that support
your opinions.
And in closing, allow me to remind you that the entire Book of Revelation is
nothing but a description of The Lord Of Host's Judgement on the nations of earth,
which is documented by The Lord Of Host's statement in Revelation 16:17, which He
makes immediately AFTER the destruction of the fourth kingdom. (quote) "It Is
Done."
Now, as for your opinion that the rider of the white horse is the anti-christ: Do
you really believe that God Almighty is going to use the anti-christ to carry out
His Judgements ??

first 5 words of the book: "The revelation (singular) of Jesus Christ."
It is the revelation of a Person, not a "description". Scripture must be
inspiration and not just information.

Another thing I think we should take into account is who John's
original reader's were. I personally feel that part of scriptural
interpretation is to consider the time period and the audience.
Remembering this then, Roman generals often paraded around on
white horses. Homer mentions such in his writings. The IVP
Commentary says that Persian armies often included "sacred white
horses." They were symbols of victory. Herodotus, "describing the
battle of Plataea says: 'The fight went most against the Greeks
where Mardonius, mounted on a white horse, and surrounded by
the bravest of all the Persians, the thousand picked men, fought in
person.'"
The *persecuted* churches to whom John was writing would have
immediately thought of a Roman general when picturing this rider on
the white horse, especially since they are not told that Jesus comes
riding on a white horse until much later in the book. They wouldn't
have made immediately drawn that conclusion. And I agree with
you Moza .... John knows who Jesus is and he describes him in the
most finest of detail everytime.

Also, we aren't told who gave the crown to the white horse rider. If
one concludes that the rider is the Holy Spirit or Jesus, then they
are assuming that God gave him the crown? These types of
crowns were given out all the time in Roman games and as military
honors. They, like the white horse, were also symbols of victory
and of military might. My point being, that whomever the white
horse rider is, people or nations could have given him the crown as
a symbol of victory. People bestow honors on others all the time
whether it's justly deserved or not.
Another thing that I find interesting concerning the seals is the
parallelism between them and Matthew 24 and the Letters to the
Churches. In Matthew 24, the FIRST thing Jesus says is:
(Mat 24:4-5) "...Take heed that no man deceive you. {5} For many
shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive
many."
And in the FIRST letter to the church of Ephesus, they are praised
for their "trying of the apostles" to see which is real and which is
false. Another interesting tidbit is that they are also praised for
"hating the deeds of the Nicolaitanes." The root word that
Nicolaitanes is derived from is the same root word for "conquer."
It appears that we are being instructed and warned for a reason.
Satan tries to imitate God and Jesus anyway he can. That's why
many will be fooled. A lot of people will follow this man on the
"white horse" for this very reason.

king

Moreover, please notice from Daniel 7:13-14, that Jesus is not
Given His Kingdom on earth, until AFTER the fourth kingdom has
been
utterly Destroyed by fire, as part of The Lord Of Hosts'
Judgement
on the nations of earth. (Dan 7:11)
Then, notice that immediately AFTER the Destruction of the fourth
kingdom, The Lord Of Hosts voids the sovereignty of the nations
that remain on earth, after the fourth kingdom has been
Destroyed.

* In May, a Plainfield, Conn., religious sect called God's House
filed a $200,000 lawsuit against the state Department of Children and
Families for sending to foster care the young daughter of sect leader
Sister Rachael. According to the Sister, the little girl is very
important to the sect in that she is the result of Rachael's
impregnation by God.
* In a 32-part series ending in December, the Providence (R.I.)
Journal-Bulletin chronicled Wendy Moricas's pregnancy in which
she received the sperm of her sister's husband Joe and bore the
couple a child that would have many of the couple's genes. Said
sister Kathy, after having given Wendy a syringe containing Joe's
sperm, "This is God's will." Also in December, Pietra Thornton
(estranged wife of actor Billy Bob Thornton), told USA Today that she
was proud of her surgically enhanced breasts. "[S]uddenly everyone's
looking," she said. "God gave me this body, and I shouldn't be
ashamed of it."
* Eddie Clyde Harris, 38, was sentenced to life in prison in March in
Neosho, Mo., for the attempted rape of a 57-year-old woman. According
to a psychiatrist who testified at the trial, Harris believes he has a
special gift from God that enables him to look at a woman and
determine whether she is promiscuous and that the victim in this case
passed the test.
* In May, Scripps Howard News Service profiled former lawyer
James Kelley of Washington, D.C., one of a small group at his local
church who are enthusiastic Episcopalians but who do not believe in
God. Said Kelley, "We all love the incense, the stained glass
windows, the organ music, the vestments, and all of that. It's drama.
It's aesthetics. It's the ritual. That's neat stuff. I don't want
to give all that up, just because I don't believe in God."
* In Philadelphia in September, a federal judge sentenced John G.
Bennett, Jr., 60, to 12 years in prison for a fraudulent charitable
fundraising pyramid scheme, eight years less than the minimum he
should have gotten under sentencing guidelines. The judge was
persuaded that Bennett committed fraud only because of a delusional
disorder characterized by "unchecked religious fervor," that he
believed that any conduct was justified as long as it served God
through philanthropy.
* In December, veterinary student Beate Broese-Quinn filed a
lawsuit against Foothill College in San Jose, Calif., which had
flunked her after she declined to do a class assignment to dissect a
fetal pig. Said her lawyer, "[Forcing] her to [dissect] is
antithetical to everything this country is founded on" because her
love of animals is the equivalent to other people's belief in God.
* According to a September federal indictment in Des Moines,
Iowa, Kenneth Ray Bruner (who is the stepson of a Pentacostal
minister in Oklahoma City) led his seven accomplices in prayer
three weeks earlier, asking for God's protection just before they set
out to knock off Hermans Fine Jewelry. Bruner acknowledged, according
to the indictment, "that they were going to do bad things but that
they were not bad people." No one was hurt in the robbery, and
everyone was behind bars by the following day.
* Pro football star Sean Gilbert sat out the 1997 season because the
Washington Redskins had offered him only $20 million over the next
five years, $1 million a season less than the figure that came to him
last summer, he said, as a revelation from God.

Resolutions of the Palestine National Council
July 1-17, 1968
TEXT OF THE CHARTER
Article 1: Palestine is the homeland of the Arab Palestinian people;
it is an indivisible part of the Arab homeland, and the Palestinian
people are an integral part of the Arab nation.
Article 2: Palestine, with the boundaries it had during the British
Mandate, is an indivisible territorial unit.
Article 3: The Palestinian Arab people possess the legal right to
their homeland and have the right to determine their destiny after
achieving the liberation of their country in accordance with their
wishes and entirely of their own accord and will.
Article 4: The Palestinian identity is a genuine, essential, and
inherent characteristic; it is transmitted from parents to children.
The Zionist occupation and the dispersal of the Palestinian Arab
people, through the disasters which befell them, do not make them
lose their Palestinian identity and their membership in the
Palestinian community, nor do they negate them.
Article 5: The Palestinians are those Arab nationals who, until 1947,
normally resided in Palestine regardless of whether they were evicted
from it or have stayed there. Anyone born, after that date, of a
Palestinian father - whether inside Palestine or outside it - is also
a Palestinian.
Article 6: The Jews who had normally resided in Palestine until the
beginning of the Zionist invasion will be considered Palestinians.
Article 7: That there is a Palestinian community and that it has
material, spiritual, and historical connection with Palestine are
indisputable facts. It is a national duty to bring up individual
Palestinians in an Arab revolutionary manner. All means of
information and education must be adopted in order to acquaint the
Palestinian with his country in the most profound manner, both
spiritual and material, that is possible. He must be prepared for the
armed struggle and ready to sacrifice his wealth and his life in
order to win back his homeland and bring about its liberation.
Article 8: The phase in their history, through which the Palestinian
people are now living, is that of national (watani) struggle for the
liberation of Palestine. Thus the conflicts among the Palestinian
national forces are secondary, and should be ended for the sake of
the basic conflict that exists between the forces of Zionism and of
imperialism on the one hand, and the Palestinian Arab people on the
other. On this basis the Palestinian masses, regardless of whether
they are residing in the national homeland or in diaspora (mahajir)
constitute - both their organizations and the individuals - one
national front working for the retrieval of Palestine and its
liberation through armed struggle.
Article 9: Armed struggle is the only way to liberate Palestine. This
it is the overall strategy, not merely a tactical phase. The
Palestinian Arab people assert their absolute determination and firm
resolution to continue their armed struggle and to work for an armed
popular revolution for the liberation of their country and their
return to it . They also assert their right to normal life in
Palestine and to exercise their right to self-determination and
sovereignty over it.
Article 10: Commando action constitutes the nucleus of the
Palestinian popular liberation war. This requires its escalation,
comprehensiveness, and the mobilization of all the Palestinian
popular and educational efforts and their organization and
involvement in the armed Palestinian revolution. It also requires the
achieving of unity for the national (watani) struggle among the
different groupings of the Palestinian people, and between the
Palestinian people and the Arab masses, so as to secure the
continuation of the revolution, its escalation, and victory.
Article 11: The Palestinians will have three mottoes: national
(wataniyya) unity, national (qawmiyya) mobilization, and liberation.
Article 12: The Palestinian people believe in Arab unity. In order to
contribute their share toward the attainment of that objective,
however, they must, at the present stage of their struggle, safeguard
their Palestinian identity and develop their consciousness of that
identity, and oppose any plan that may dissolve or impair it.
Article 13: Arab unity and the liberation of Palestine are two
complementary objectives, the attainment of either of which
facilitates the attainment of the other. Thus, Arab unity leads to
the liberation of Palestine, the liberation of Palestine leads to
Arab unity; and work toward the realization of one objective proceeds
side by side with work toward the realization of the other.
Article 14: The destiny of the Arab nation, and indeed Arab existence
itself, depend upon the destiny of the Palestine cause. From this
interdependence springs the Arab nation's pursuit of, and striving
for, the liberation of Palestine. The people of Palestine play the
role of the vanguard in the realization of this sacred (qawmi) goal.
Article 15: The liberation of Palestine, from an Arab viewpoint, is a
national (qawmi) duty and it attempts to repel the Zionist and
imperialist aggression against the Arab homeland, and aims at the
elimination of Zionism in Palestine. Absolute responsibility for this
falls upon the Arab nation - peoples and governments - with the Arab
people of Palestine in the vanguard. Accordingly, the Arab nation
must mobilize all its military, human, moral, and spiritual
capabilities to participate actively with the Palestinian people in
the liberation of Palestine. It must, particularly in the phase of
the armed Palestinian revolution, offer and furnish the Palestinian
people with all possible help, and material and human support, and
make available to them the means and opportunities that will enable
them to continue to carry out their leading role in the armed
revolution, until they liberate their homeland.
Article 16: The liberation of Palestine, from a spiritual point of
view, will provide the Holy Land with an atmosphere of safety and
tranquility, which in turn will safeguard the country's religious
sanctuaries and guarantee freedom of worship and of visit to all,
without discrimination of race, color, language, or religion.
Accordingly, the people of Palestine look to all spiritual forces in
the world for support.
Article 17: The liberation of Palestine, from a human point of view,
will restore to the Palestinian individual his dignity, pride, and
freedom. Accordingly the Palestinian Arab people look forward to the
support of all those who believe in the dignity of man and his
freedom in the world.
Article 18: The liberation of Palestine, from an international point
of view, is a defensive action necessitated by the demands of
self-defense. Accordingly the Palestinian people, desirous as they
are of the friendship of all people, look to freedom-loving, and
peace-loving states for support in order to restore their legitimate
rights in Palestine, to re-establish peace and security in the
country, and to enable its people to exercise national sovereignty
and freedom.
Article 19: The partition of Palestine in 1947 and the establishment
of the state of Israel are entirely illegal, regardless of the
passage of time, because they were contrary to the will of the
Palestinian people and to their natural right in their homeland, and
inconsistent with the principles embodied in the Charter of the
United Nations, particularly the right to self-determination.
Article 20: The Balfour Declaration, the Mandate for Palestine, and
everything that has been based upon them, are deemed null and void.
Claims of historical or religious ties of Jews with Palestine are
incompatible with the facts of history and the true conception of
what constitutes statehood. Judaism, being a religion, is not an
independent nationality. Nor do Jews constitute a single nation with
an identity of its own; they are citizens of the states to which they
belong.
Article 21: The Arab Palestinian people, expressing themselves by the
armed Palestinian revolution, reject all solutions which are
substitutes for the total liberation of Palestine and reject all
proposals aiming at the liquidation of the Palestinian problem, or
its internationalization.
Article 22: Zionism is a political movement organically associated
with international imperialism and antagonistic to all action for
liberation and to progressive movements in the world. It is racist
and fanatic in its nature, aggressive, expansionist, and colonial in
its aims, and fascist in its methods. Israel is the instrument of the
Zionist movement, and geographical base for world imperialism placed
strategically in the midst of the Arab homeland to combat the hopes
of the Arab nation for liberation, unity, and progress. Israel is a
constant source of threat vis-a-vis peace in the Middle East and the
whole world. Since the liberation of Palestine will destroy the
Zionist and imperialist presence and will contribute to the
establishment of peace in the Middle East, the Palestinian people
look for the support of all the progressive and peaceful forces and
urge them all, irrespective of their affiliations and beliefs, to
offer the Palestinian people all aid and support in their just
struggle for the liberation of their homeland.
Article 23: The demand of security and peace, as well as the demand
of right and justice, require all states to consider Zionism an
illegitimate movement, to outlaw its existence, and to ban its
operations, in order that friendly relations among peoples may be
preserved, and the loyalty of citizens to their respective homelands
safeguarded.
Article 24: The Palestinian people believe in the principles of
justice, freedom, sovereignty, self-determination, human dignity, and
in the right of all peoples to exercise them.
Article 25: For the realization of the goals of this Charter and its
principles, the Palestine Liberation Organization will perform its
role in the liberation of Palestine in accordance with the
Constitution of this Organization.
Article 26: The Palestine Liberation Organization, representative of
the Palestinian revolutionary forces, is responsible for the
Palestinian Arab people's movement in its struggle - to retrieve its
homeland, liberate and return to it and exercise the right to
self-determination in it - in all military, political, and financial
fields and also for whatever may be required by the Palestine case on
the inter-Arab and international levels.
Article 27: The Palestine Liberation Organization shall cooperate
with all Arab states, each according to its potentialities; and will
adopt a neutral policy among them in the light of the requirements of
the war of liberation; and on this basis it shall not interfere in
the internal affairs of any Arab state.
Article 28: The Palestinian Arab people assert the genuineness and
independence of their national (wataniyya) revolution and reject all
forms of intervention, trusteeship, and subordination.
Article 29: The Palestinian people possess the fundamental and
genuine legal right to liberate and retrieve their homeland. The
Palestinian people determine their attitude toward all states and
forces on the basis of the stands they adopt vis-a-vis to the
Palestinian revolution to fulfill the aims of the Palestinian people.
Article 30: Fighters and carriers of arms in the war of liberation
are the nucleus of the popular army which will be the protective
force for the gains of the Palestinian Arab people.
Article 31: The Organization shall have a flag, an oath of
allegiance, and an anthem. All this shall be decided upon in
accordance with a special regulation.
Article 32: Regulations, which shall be known as the Constitution of
the Palestinian Liberation Organization, shall be annexed to this
Charter. It will lay down the manner in which the Organization, and
its organs and institutions, shall be constituted; the respective
competence of each; and the requirements of its obligation under the
Charter.
Article 33: This Charter shall not be amended save by [vote of] a
majority of two-thirds of the total membership of the National
Congress of the Palestine Liberation Organization [taken] at a
special session convened for that purpose.

Hello Ed,
To answer your question, no, I have been given no Wisdom as to whether or not
theRider of the white horse mentioned in Revelation 6:2 is Jesus Himself, or
merely His Spirit; Or, The Holy Spirit. But, I will now begin seeking such
Wisdom.
Meanwhile, I feel comfortable in saying that, at the point in time when Jesus
was sent out conquering, and to conquer, that the Crown He was given, was given
to Him by His Father, The Lord God Almighty; And, that the Crown mentioned in
Revelation 6:2 is His Crown as the PRINCE of the kings on earth; Not, His Crown
as the King of kings.
I welcome any further questions.
