Settlements block agreement on war crimes court

                  By Aluf Benn
                  Ha'aretz Diplomatic Correspondent

Israel is considering signing an international agreement to establish a war
crimes court, but has no intention of ratifying the agreement since
settlements in the territories are considered "war crimes" under the court's
constitution.

In a meeting held last week at the Foreign Ministry, the ministry's legal
adviser, Attorney Alan Baker, recommended that Israel sign the agreement
before December of this year, so that it can be considered a "founding
member" of the international court and support the basic principles upon
which the court will be founded, without being brought under the court's
jurisdiction. Israel will thus be able to improve its international reputation,
without running a real risk of interference in its policies.

Justice Minister Yossi Beilin believes that Israel should play a part in the
new international court and asked foreign officials to find a solution that
would allow this. The New York conference currently busy drawing up the
court's documents and agreements, is not, however, holding any discussion
on amending the "settlements article"

The possibility of establishing an international war crimes court arose
recently in light of the massacres in Rwanda and Bosnia and the prevalent
feeling among members of the international community that a permanent
court was needed to deal with such crimes, rather than an ad-hoc one.

The section which lists "transferring a population to an occupied territory" as
a war crime was added two years ago prior to the Rome Conference. A
Foreign Ministry source says that "it was clear that this meant us and the
wording adopted effectively turns those who fund the settlements or provide
services to settlers as war criminals." Israel thus voted against the
constitution at the conference, along with Libya and China.

Arabs Continue Destruction and Diggings of Remains of the Temple
An Urgent call to Everyone in the World

The Arab Waqf on the Temple Mount, which is controlled by the "Palestinian"
Authority of the terrorist Arafat of the PLO continue their vandalism,
destruction and diggings on the Temple Mount. Their purpose is to destroy
all the remains and evidence of the temple on the Temple Mount and so to
attempt to deny its existence. At this time they are undertaking an
intensive work of destruction on the eastern side of the Temple Mount.
Members of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement have seen heavy equipment and
tractors working and wreaking terrible damage to very unique remains from
the temple which can never be redressed.

Officials of the Israeli Antiquities Authority stated that the diggings on
the Temple Mount, especially over the last few years, have caused more
damage than any other act of destruction since the destruction of the Second
Temple.

It is a tragedy that the weakness of the Israeli Government and the Israeli
legal authorities do not immediately stop this terrible destruction of the
most holy place of the Jewish People and all the world. It is not only an
anti-Israeli crime but it is also an international crime against all
mankind. It is a terrible crime against G-d for which not only the Arab
perpetrators will soon be judged by G-d but also those who had the authority
and the sovereignty to stop them and arrest them and did not do so and
preferred to remain silent. Where is the UN which is so often and so quickly
makes anti-Israeli resolutions and now, when the most holy treasure of all
the world is being destroyed at the hands of these vandals, they remain
silent? Where is President Clinton, who is constantly putting pressure on
the government of Israel and now does react and put pressure on these
vandals to stop their barbaric destruction? Where is the European Union and
all the other hypocrites all over the world who prefer the protect their oil
and other materialistic interests above the their real interest to be with
G-d and to protect His holy house and mountain from this Arab Islamic
vandalism?

The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement continues their
intensive campaign and demonstrations to immediately stop these barbaric
activities. This campaign is directed to the Israeli Government and the
legal authorities and everyone in the world who should be stopping this
destruction. Besides demonstrations, we have made a number of petitions to
the Supreme Court of Israel and the most recent of these is, we hope, soon
going to be considered after a number of delays which we cannot understand.
As we asked in our petition, we hope that the matter will be considered by a
full bench of 13 judges because of the seriousness of the case. At the same
time, the Temple Mount Faithful Movement is making an urgent petition
against these specific diggings and destruction on the eastern side of the
Temple Mount.

The continuing campaign of the Temple Mount Faithful against this barbaric
destruction awoke 82 members of the Israeli Knesset and many public figures
from both the left and right of the political spectrum who wrote an urgent
letter to Prime Minister Barak to prevent the continuation of this barbaric
destruction. Amongst these public figures were the current mayor of
Jerusalem, Ehud Olmert, and the former mayor, Teddy Kollek. This act
expressed the broken hearts of the Israeli nation because of this
destruction and that they can no longer remain silent in the face of this
new terrible destruction taking place. They can no longer accept the
weakness of the Israeli Government and the legal authorities and the fact
that they ignore the situation and do nothing about it. In their open letter
of 8th June, they wrote:

To Prime Minister Ehud Barak

Call For The Prevention Of The Continuation Of The Destruction Of
Antiquities On The Temple Mount In Jerusalem.

Serious acts of vandalism and the irreparable destruction of antiquities is
taking place in the Temple Mount Compound, one of the most important
archeological sites in Israel and the world. This is taking place in gross
violation of the Antiquities Law while the Antiquities Authority is
prevented from acting.

In the last year, and in particular in recent months, massive destruction of
antiquities has taken place within the Temple Mount Compound. Within the
framework of the construction of a new mosque in Solomon's Stables, large

scale excavation took place and a huge pit was dug by tractors. Thousands
of tons of dirt laden with a large number of archeological findings dating
from the First Temple Period and onwards was dumped in the municipal dump

and other locations.

This archaeological crime is unacceptable to any cultured person, without
any connection to political identity or ideological stand and we object to
it just as it is inconceivable that a similar systematic destruction would
take place in a site of similar importance elsewhere in the world such as
the Acropolis in Athens or the Forum in Rome.

We call on the Government of Israel to urgently act to strictly enforce the
Antiquities Law in the Temple Mount Compound and to make all excavation and
construction activity subject to the on-site supervision of the Antiquities

Authority including the carrying out of recovery digs, inspection and
recording of all findings as required in every other site in the State of
Israel.

The Committee for the Prevention of the Destruction of Antiquities on the
Temple Mount 052-288442

Signed by 82 MKs and others.

        IMRA

The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement will intensively
continue her public campaign to stop this barbaric destruction and
desecration and the taking of holy earth from the Temple Mount and throwing
it in the Kidron Valley and in a garbage tip close to Jerusalem and to save
the last remains of the holy temple which are so dear and holy to everyone
in Israel and all over the world. We call on everyone in the world to be a
part of this campaign and to come before G-d with clean hands, to send
letters to their governments and to the Israeli Government, and to hold
demonstrations and to no longer be silent. This terrible event is a test for
all of us and we must face it if we want to be faithful to G-d and to our
human principles.

Thumbs up to let the Colosseum show go on
By Bruce Johnston in Rome

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/

FOR the first time in nearly 1,500 years, Rome's Colosseum
is to reopen as a venue of popular entertainment. The 1,920-
year-old amphitheatre, which became a symbol of Roman
decadence with its contests between Christians and lions,
will be the setting for productions of tragedies by
Sophocles performed by Israeli, Iranian and Greek theatre
groups. The initiative, from July 19 to Aug 6, is
described as an attempt to foster understanding among
monotheistic cultures. It has been greeted with surprise in
the Italian capital as it is the kind of scheme that the
archaeological superintendent, Adriano La Regina, would be
expected to refuse. Instead he said: "We are not hard-
headed conservatives. There is nothing to stop the
Colosseum being used from time to time to host other,
similar shows in future for a restricted audience and a
discreet stage production. Maximum audiences will number
1,500, as opposed to 75,000 in its heyday. A wooden arena
floor similar to the long-lost original is now being
constructed.

PALESTINIAN "JERUSALEM" LAW
The Palestinian Legislative Council is preparing a law on Jerusalem,
stipulating that the city is the capital of the Palestinian "state." The
purpose of the law is to prevent Palestinian negotiators from making
"concessions" to Israel regarding Jerusalem. Feisal Husseini, the PLO
official responsible for Jerusalem, told university students this week that if
the talks fail, "there are other legitimate options for our people, which the
conquerors know very well." Other PA officials have made similar comments
of late.

Knesset Members of various political parties - Shinui, NRP, Shas, National
Union-Yisrael Beiteinu - toured the enclave community of Negohot today.
Half of the town's only access road, south-west of Hevron, is under full
Palestinian Authority control, as is the entire area surrounding Negohot.
The MKs said that they wished to learn "from up close" the full impact of
Barak's intention to transfer additional Jewish communities to a similar
status. MK Nissim Ze'ev later told Arutz-7, "Everything is fine here when
there are no problems. But if the PA wishes to make trouble over
something, they can place Negohot under siege in a matter of seconds. We
are calling upon the army and government to immediately open the
alternative road, leading westward from Negohot over the Green Line to
Kiryat Gat."

HEAVY SENTENCES TO SLA SOLDIERS
A second group of SLA fighters has been sentenced for collaborating with
Israel. They received sentences of between seven and fifteen years in
prison, plus heavy fines, in comparison with milder sentences of between
one month and five years that were handed down to an earlier group.

Arutz-7's Kobi Finkler reports that security sources in Israel say that the
more severe punishments are a result of Syrian, Iranian and Hizbullah anger at the
lighter sentences doled out to SLA soldiers by the Lebanese court earlier. It
should be noted that a special military court handed down the more recent
sentences, in contrast to the regular criminal court which dealt with the
previous cases. To date, some 1,700 SLA men have turned themselves over
to Lebanese authorities.

Finkler reports that most of the former SLA soldiers and their families who
fled to Israel since the IDF withdrawal from Lebanon now say that they do not
plan to remain here. An American commitment to absorb some 500 SLA
fighters and families will be finalized during Public Security Minister Shlomo
Ben-Ami's current visit to Washington.

RIF'AT DOESN'T GIVE UP, AS BROTHER IS BURIED Syrian dictator Hafez
el-Assad was buried in his hometown in northern Syria this afternoon,
following a internationally-covered funeral in Damascus. Rif'at Assad, the late
president's brother, has announced from his European exile that he sees
himself as his brother's successor, and will not give up the Presidency to his
nephew Bashar without a fight. Syrian authorities said that if Rif'at
arrives in Syria, he will be arrested.

Tensions in Saudi royal family as king prepares to exit

                      Special to World Tribune.com
                        MIDDLE EAST NEWSLINE
  Tuesday, June 13, 2000

LONDON [MENL] -- Saudi Arabia's royal family is said to be bracing for a
power struggle.

The power struggle comes as King Fahd is being prepared to leave the
kingdom for an extended stay in his palace in southern Spain. Fahd's
departure will, in effect, mean the end of his reign. The king has never
recovered from a stroke in 1995.

Fahd's successor is expected to be his deputy, Crown Prince Abdullah. Last
week, the kingdom announced the first meeting of a new 18-member royal
family council in what analysts and diplomats expect will formally pave the
way for a transition in power.

The council marks a rare occasion when the royal family met to discuss the
succession issue before the death of a Saudi monarch. The panel is chaired
by Abdullah and include his half-brother Prince Sultan, the Saudi defense
minister.

The Saudi press agency gave few details of the council meeting. But the
agency said "appropriate decisions were taken." The council does not
include Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef, who was said to have upset
Abdullah by failing to report to him.

Fahd's health is clearly failing. He was admitted to a Saudi hospital earlier
this month and his speech to the opening of the consultative council on June
6 was read for him.

At the same time, Arab diplomatic sources said, Abdullah cancelled his trip
to Latin America.

Since the death of King Abdul Aziz, or Ibn Saud, the founder of the Saudi
state, in 1953, succession has passed from one half-brother to another. But
the Al Saudi family is old, with the average age of the princes being in their
60s. Fahd was 61 when he became king in 1982.

Abdullah's expected succession appears fraught with difficulties, the sources
said. The crown prince does not have any brothers while Fahd has six full
brothers.

Simon Henderson, a consultant on Saudi Arabia based in London, said
Abdullah will probably appoint Sultan as crown prince. Sultan is the senior of
Fahd's younger brothers.

"There are no commoners on the new family council, and the inclusion of
descendants of kings from branches which lost power 170 years ago hardly
enables the body to be considered part of a modernizing trend," Henderson
wrote in a study for the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. "Another
view is that the council will tackle royal issues like fixing guidelines for royal
involvement in business and allowing Al Saud princesses to marry
commoners."

The power struggle in Riyad comes as the United States has relied on Saudi
Arabia to be a major financier in the Arab-Israeli peace process and as Iran
tries to increase its influence in the Gulf.

"Washington's hope will be that the new family council represents another
step in a smooth, slow transition from the ill King Fahd to his obvious
successor Abdullah," Henderson said. Tuesday, June 13, 2000

Lights glow on Moon

Light site: The mighty crater Langrenus, 136 km across
By BBC News Online science editor Dr David Whitehouse

New evidence shows that the Moon is not a totally dead
world as was thought by many astronomers. It does still
occasionally stir with activity.

Even though they have been reported from time to time for
hundreds of years claims of changes on the lunar surface
have always been controversial. Many scientists have
dismissed the occasional reported sightings of glows and
mists hanging over certain lunar features.

Now a French astronomer has obtained some of the most
definite proof yet that occasionally something does disturb
the lunar surface.

It was seen in 1992 by veteran lunar observer Audouin
Dollfus of the Observatoire de Paris using the one metre
(39 inch) Meudon reflecting telescope. He has only just
finished analysing the results, and has submitted them for
publication.

Fading light

On 30 December, he noticed a series of glows on the floor
of the large crater Langrenus. They were definitely not
there the day before. Professor Dollfus observed them for
several days before they faded.

Each time he returned to the telescope he noticed that the
shape of the glows had changed.

He believes that the glows are due to escaping gas that
lifts dust above the lunar surface into sunlight.

Some lunar observers have expressed surprise that such a
mist should have been seen above Langrenus which was not
regarded as a prime candidate for lunar changes.

Professor Dolfuss points out that Langrenus, when observed
in detail, has an extensive series of fractures on its
crater floor and the gas could be escaping from these.

Man on the Moon

So-called "Transient Lunar Phenonemon" (TLP) have been
reported from time to time but definite evidence has been
lacking.

Responding to observations from the ground, Neil Armstrong
was asked to look for glows on the Moon during the Moon
landing in July 1969. He reported seeing a part of the Moon
glow, but later could not be sure which region it was.

In 1994, the Clementine lunar orbiting satellite observed
the crater Aristarchus before and after a TLP was seen from
the Earth. Clementine spectral data suggested that parts of
the crater had changed colour slightly.

McDonald's in Israel blasts religious party's influence
By Reuters, 6/13/2000

http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/165/nation/McDonald_s_in_Israel_blasts_rel
igious_party_s_influence+.shtml

JERUSALEM - McDonald's Israeli franchise called yesterday for an end to
''religious coercion'' in Israel and demanded that the government allow the
restaurant chain to employ young Jews to sell hamburgers on the Sabbath.

''Stop capitulating to Shas or Israel will turn into Iran,'' read a
half-page McDonald's advertisement in Yedioth Ahronoth, Israel's most
popular newspaper. The ultra-Orthodox Shas Party is part of Prime Minister
Ehud Barak's ruling coalition.

The advertisement called on Israel's secular political parties to press
Barak to change the law and allow young Jews to work on the Sabbath, when,
according to Jewish law, it is forbidden to do any kind of work.

Signed by Omri Padan, the managing director of McDonald's Israel, and
complete with the restaurant's golden arches logo, the notice said
McDonald's has so far received $20,000 in fines for employing Jewish
teenagers on the Sabbath.

Padan and other McDonald's Israel officials were unavailable to comment on
the campaign.

Barak's supporters urged him after he won Israel's elections last year to
keep Shas, the third-largest party in Israel's parliament, out of his
government.

But Barak decided to include the 17-seat party in his coalition to try to
bridge the gap between the religious and secular in Israel.

Barak is now embroiled in a dispute with Shas over its demands that he
provide massive funding to Shas's corruption-tainted school system.

McDonald's has riled religious Jews in the past as many of its restaurants
in Israel sell cheeseburgers in contravention of Jewish law, which prohibits
meat and dairy products being eaten or prepared together.

This story ran on page A20 of the Boston Globe on 6/13/2000.

Good Lord! What in heaven's name is that?

By DAVID HAMLING in London

We are in Baghdad in 1991, and something strange is
happening. A hush falls over the city as a huge shimmering
face materialises in the sky. Soldiers and citizens
prostrate themselves as each hears the voice of Allah,
commanding them to overthrow the evil and treacherous
Saddam Hussein. Within minutes an angry mob is storming the
palace as the guards flee ...

This highly imaginative scenario was proposed by US Air
Force (USAF) planners for a bloodless victory in the Gulf
conflict. The idea of putting words in God's mouth is not
new. In the second century AD Lucian described a statue of
the god Aesculapius that spoke to believers, aided by a
hidden priest with a speaking tube.

The Baghdad plan involved projecting a giant hologram over
Iraq. This kind of projection requires a mirror behind it.
The scale of the project dictated a mirror several
kilometres across up in space. So far the largest mirror
developed has been 30 metres wide and present versions are
too small to produce a convincing image at ground level.

Another approach would be to make a mirror out of thin
air. When warm air lies on top of cold air, the difference
in density is enough to bend light. At higher altitudes, a
mirage can make whole landscapes appear in the sky. An
artificial mirage could in theory be made by heating the
atmosphere with radio waves or microwaves.

The military certainly appears to believe in the potential
use of holograms. A USAF think-tank has devised uses
ranging from deceptive holographic imaging to the Star Trek-
sounding distortion field projector. These are described as
useful for strategic deception purposes, particularly
against an unsophisticated adversary. They would be
projected by a special aircraft, an airborne hologram
projector.

Perhaps the nearest current equivalent is the Commando
Solo, a modified Hercules festooned with aerials and
antennae and carrying pods of classified electronics. It
can transmit across the electromagnetic spectrum, including
radio and television signals.

The face of God needs a voice. A new technique using
microwaves could produce this. When a high-power microwave
pulse strikes the human body, a small temperature
disturbance occurs, causing an expansion of tissue that can
create an acoustic wave. A report from the USAF scientific
advisory board says: "With a pulse stream, an internal
acoustic field of 5-15KHz can be created which is audible.
Thus it may be possible to 'talk' to adversaries in a way
which would be most disturbing to them."

The practical difficulties in microwave transmission are
formidable. The exact sound perceived depends on the size
and shape of the hearer's skull and orientation to the
source. Microwaves can be reflected or dampened by solid
objects, so God's voice could have the underwater quality
of poor radio reception. And would you believe in a God
whose voice drops off when you walk behind a lamp-post?

But there were other problems with the plan. Images of
Allah are forbidden in Islam. How can you project an image
of God when nobody knows what He is supposed to look like?

And the citizens of Baghdad are not superstitious savages,
prone to fleeing at the sound of a disembodied voice from a
gramophone. They have been exposed to years of computer-
generated imagery and flashy special effects. If God's
image did appear in the heavens, someone would be bound to
suggest it was all done with mirrors.

Southern Baptists divided over women pastors

By JULIA LIEBLICH, Associated Press

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 12, 2000 4:29 p.m. EDT http://www.nandotimes.com) -
Southern Baptists are debating the latest proposal dividing the nation's
largest Protestant denomination: A measure that says women should no longer
serve as pastors.

The denomination will vote on the revised statement of belief at its annual
convention, which begins here Tuesday.

"I think you'll see a lot of women leaving" the denomination if the proposal
passes, said the Rev. Martha Phillips, interim pastor of the Mt. Vernon
Baptist Church in Arlington, Va., where Vice President Al Gore is a member.
"For me it's the last straw."

The Southern Baptists will also discuss new wording against abortion and
homosexuality that reflects the rightward shift in recent years in the 15.9
million-member denomination.

The chairman of the drafting committee, the Rev. Adrian Rogers of Memphis,
Tenn., said the group makes no apologies for a position he believes most
Southern Baptists have held for years.

"This is what God says," he told the radio show "For Faith and Family" on
Monday. "We're sucked in a world of wickedness and vice, and we need to
speak clearly without stutter or stammer."

The Rev. David Key, director of Baptist Studies at Emory University's
Candler School of Theology, called the statement a litmus test of who's in
and out of conservative circles.

"Instead of building a consensus statement, (Baptist leaders) are using it
as a club to drive out people they disagree with," he said. "After they pass
this, every denominational bureaucrat, every missionary, every seminary
professor is going to have to adhere to the statement."

The statement of belief reads: "While both men and women are gifted for
service in the church, the office of pastor is limited to men as qualified
by Scripture."

The 1,600 or so current Southern Baptist clergywomen, about 100 of whom are
pastors leading congregations, would not lose their credentials.

The statement is not binding on individual Southern Baptists, and the 41,000
local congregations would remain free to ordain women. But the statement
could affect the denomination's hiring decisions.

In 1998, the Southern Baptists declared that a wife should "submit herself
graciously to the servant leadership of her husband." About a dozen
congregations quit the denomination.

Approval of the men-only clergy clause will probably drive out other
congregations, said the Rev. Daniel Vestal of Atlanta, coordinator for a
group of 2,000 theologically moderate congregations.

The Rev. Raye Nell Dyer, president of Baptist Women in Ministry, said female
pastors would be among the first to go. "They're going to go to other
churches and denominations where they have opportunities to minister," she
said.

Other proposed changes in the church statement underscore that the Bible is
"totally true" and that God is "all-powerful and all-knowing," and insist
that "there is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as
Lord."

The statement also urges Christians to oppose racism and reject
homosexuality.

What is the Blue Beam Project?
by Jim Seabourn
crtisad@inland.net

August 19, 1998

[quoting] It involves two things. A technologically simulated "second coming"
and the re-emgerence of the new "MONTAUK"-type projects that have the
ability to take up a whole bunch of people as in a 'rapture' type of situation
and whisk the whole bunch into never-never land. Ironically, portions of the
holographic projections have the potential for changing the planet into one-
ness with God. Unfortunately, this operates on the premise that Man shall
somehow become God in human form and control other Men and dictate all
actions and thoughts.

The calculated resistence to the new religion, the New World Order and the
new "Messiah" will entail human loss on a massive scale in the ensuing
"holy wars". The "BLUE BEAM PROJECT" will pretend to be the universal
fulfillment of the prophecies of old; as major an event as that which took
place 2000 years ago. In principle, it will make use of the sky as a
holographic projection screen for space-based laser-generating satellites
[star wars]. These projectors will project simultaneous images to the four
corners of the planet, in every language by region. It deals with the religious
aspect of the New World Order. The system has already been tested.
Holographic projections of the "Christ Image" have already been seen in
some remote desert areas. These have only been reported in tabloid papers,
so they are instantly rendered moot. They can also project images of aliens,
monsters, angles--you name it. Computers will coordinate the satellites and
software will run the show- and-tell. Holography is based on very nearly
identical signals combining to produce image, or hologram, with depth
perception. This is equally applicate to acoustic [ELF, VLF, LF] waves as it
is optical phenomena. Specifically, the "show" will consist of laser
projections of multiple holographic images to different parts of the planet,
each receiving different images according to the predominating regional
religious faith. Not a single area will be excluded.

With computer animation and sound affects appearing to come from the
depths of space, astonished followers of the various creeds will witness their
own returned Messiah in spectacularly convincing lifelike realness. The
various images of Christ, Mohammed, Buddba, Krishna, etc., will merge into
ONE after "correct explanation" of the mysteries, prophecies and revelations
are disclosed. This "ONE GOD" will in fact function as the Anti-Christ", who
will "explain" that the various scriptures "have been misunderstood"--that the
religious of old are responsible for turning brother against brother, nation
against nation--that the religions of the world must be abolished to make way
for the GOLDEN AGE [NEW AGE] of the One World Religion, representing
the One God they see before them.

Naturally, this superbly staged, full-scale production will result in social and
religious disorder on a massive scale. Wonder what the television trans-
mitters of religious networks will be doing on that day? But before all this,
they have to go through four different steps in order to get to Project Blue
Beam.

1: The first step concerns the breakdown of all archaeological knowledge. It
deals with staging earthquakes at certain precise locations around the planet
where supposed new "discoveries" will finally explain [for them] that the
meaning of the basic doctrines of all the world's major religions are "wrong".
This falsification will be used to make the population believe that all religious
doctrine has been misunderstood and misinterpreted. The falsification started
with the film 2001: A Space Odyssey, the TV-series STAR TREK, the STAR
WARS films, E.T., all of which deal with space "invasion" and "protection".
JURASSIC PARK was to push the theory of evolution.

2: The second step deals with the gigantic space show: 3D optical
holograms and sounds, laser projections of multiple holographic images in
different parts of the world, each receiving a different image, according to its
predetermined original national religious faith. This new "god" image will talk
in all languages. As an example, the Soviets have manufactured the
advanced computers and have programmed them with the minute psycho-
logical particles based upon their studies of the anatomy and biology of the
human body, as well as their studies on the anatomy, chemistry and
electricity of the human brain. These computers have also been fed with the
different languages of the world.

3: The third step deals with the telepathic electronic two-way communi-
cations, where ELF [Extra Low Frequency], VLF [Low Frequency] waves will
reach the people of the Earth through the insides of their brains, making
each person believe that his own God is speaking to him from within his own
soul. Such rays, from satellites, are fed from the memory of computers that
store much data about the human being and his languages. These rays will
then interlace and interweave with the natural thinking processes to form
what we call the ARTIFICIAL TALK.

4: The fourth step involves universal supernatural manifestations using
electronic means. This step contains three different orientations: The first
one is to make mankind believe that an alien invasion is about to occur upon
every major city on the Earth. This is to push each major nation into using its
nuclear capability to strike back. In this manner, it would put each of these
nations in a state of full disarmament before the United Nations after the
false attack.

The second is to make the "Christian" believe that a major rapture is
occuring, with a simple "played" divine intervention of an alleged "good" alien
force coming to save the good people from a brutal satanic attack. Its goal is
to get rid of all significant opposition to the NEW WORLD ORDER. The third
orientation is a mixture of electronic and supernatural forces. The waves
[frequencies] used at that time will allow supernatural forces through fiber
optics cable, coaxial cable, electric and telephone lines in order to penetrate
all electronic equipment and appliances that will by then all have a special
microchip installed. The goal of this step deals with the materialization of
satanic ghosts, spectres, and poltergiests all across the globe in order to
push all populations to the edge of a wave of suicide, killing and permanent
psychological disorder. After that night of the THOUSAND STARS,
HUMANITY IS BELIEVED TO BE READY FOR THEM TO ENTER IN A
"NEW MESSIAH" TO REESTABLISH PEACE EVERYWHERE AT ANY
COST, EVEN AT THE COST OF FREEDOM.

Third secret of Fatima to be detailed this week: Portuguese bishop

Copyright 2000 by Agence France-Presse

LISBON, June 13 (AFP) - The Vatican will this week make public the text of
the third secret of Fatima, which was purportedly revealed to three
Portuguese shepherds at the start of the century, a Portuguese bishop said
Tuesday.

The text "will be made public in the next few days" at a press conference,
Serafim Silva, the bishop of Leiria-Fatima, told the Portuguese agency Lusa.

Vatican spokesman Joaquin Navarro has said that the third secret of Fatima
foresaw what was interpreted as an assassination attempt on Pope John
Paul II in 1981.

The pope ordered last month during a visit to the town of Fatima that the
secret be revealed.

The substance of the first two Fatima secrets -- referring to God's
punishment for mankind's sins, the need for repentance and a prophesy of
Russia's attempt to wipe out religion under communism -- have long been
known.

The pope was hit in the stomach and both arms by bullets fired by a Turk, Ali
Agca, as he drove through a crowd of 20,000 people in Saint Peter's square
on May 13, 1981.

On Tuesday, Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi issued a pardon for
Agca, ANSA news agency reported Tuesday citing Agca's lawyer Marina
Magistrelli.

Agca, 23 at the time of the attack, is to be extradited to Turkey, ANSA news
agency reported Tuesday after Justice Minister Piero Fassino signed an
extradition decree. Agca had been sentenced to death, in absentia, for
murder in Turkey before he shot the pope.

Meanwhile, the bishop of Leiria-Fatima disclosed Tuesday that pilgrims had
donated 1.47 billion escudos out of a total of 2.6 billion escudos (13 million
euros, dollars) in donations to the shrine last year.

The shrine decided to publish accounts for the first time following the papal
visit and would continue to do so in future, the bishop said.

Exodus 32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a
graving tool, after he had made it a molten (4541) calf: and they said,
These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded
them: they have made them a molten (4541) calf, and have worshipped it, and
have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have
brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Exodus 34:17 Thou shalt make thee no molten (4541) gods.

Etc. etc. there are may others.

This situation with the molten calf was a problem here as well:

1 Kings 14:7 Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch
as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people
Israel,
1 Kings 14:8 And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it
thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my
commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which
was right in mine eyes;
1 Kings 14:9 But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou
hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten (4541) images, to provoke me
to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

Back up to...

1 Kings 12:26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return
to the house of David:
1 Kings 12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD
at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their
lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again
to Rehoboam king of Judah.
1 Kings 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold,
and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy
gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
1 Kings 12:29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
1 Kings 12:30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship
before the one, even unto Dan.

Bethel = "house of God"
Dan = "a judge"

Compare...

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of
God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey
not the gospel of God?

+++

One other thing about 'covering'...

Genesis 13:10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of
Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed
Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt,
as thou comest unto Zoar.

 03876 Lowt {lote}

 the same as 03875;; n pr m

 AV - Lot 33; 33

 Lot = "covering"
 1) son of Haran and Abraham's nephew who settled in Sodom and was
delivered from its destruction by God

plain...

 03603 kikkar {kik-kawr'}

 from 03769;; n f

 AV - talent 48, plain 12, loaf 4, piece 2, country 1, morsel 1; 68

 1) round
1a) a round district (environs of the Jordan valley)
1b) a round loaf (of bread)
1c) a round weight, talent (of gold, silver, bronze, iron)

As in...

1 Kings 10:14 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was
six hundred threescore and six talents (3603) of gold

'Covering' also reminds me of Adam and Eve's sudden desire for fig leaves.
