in the worlds media that the Clinton administration has supplied
the Chinese with technology that has dramatically advanced its

justified as can be substantiated by the Newswatch report of

"If the U.S. attempts to intervene on behalf of Taiwan, America
should be prepared to lose Los Angeles".

Of greater concern to students of Bible prophecy is the
knowledge that China is to remain in power until the return of
Jesus Christ, while the fate of the United States is obscure.

RE China's Road to Armageddon. 2000 update.

I find it interesting the comment in this news bulletin that at
the end there will be three power blocs - China, Antichrist and
Gog and Magog. This is a position I have held and taught for
years and seen much ridicule because of it but it is clear to me
that this is the case. It is also pointed out that the Americas
are not included in this, a position I have pointed out
repeatedly. As most popular writing on the end times is sourced
in the USA there is a tendency for the writers to assume the USA
will be there somewhere - as far back as Hal Lindsay's Late
Great Planet Earth he identified The USA and Canada with Western
Europe - wrongly I think, but it was his way out of the obvious
implication of the equation.

What is the obvious implication? Well if the three power blocs
at the end are these:

1. Gog and Magog (Ezek 38) which is regularly identified by
Jewish writers as Russia and the East European bloc. We can be
sure they are still there at Armageddon (contrary to Hal Lindsay
who initiates the Tribulation with the destruction of Gog)
because of the statement in v18 "in that day...my wrath will be
aroused" both of these phrases, when compared with their usage
throughout the Bible, indicate the Day of the Lord, not an event
prior to it. The Arab and African nations appear to be alligned
with them.

 2. The (3) kings of the East - Rev 16:13 - presumably the
Chinese and Indian bloods. Whether we make the third Japan (who
are of Chinese descent historically) or the original Indians
people (the South Indians who are different racially to the
northern Indo European Indians) probably doesn't matter. Time
will tell.

3. Then there is Antichrist and his 10 nation bloc of West
Europe.

But this is at the End - and earlier in Rev, in the 7 seals,
we find a third of the world is destroyed - and this third does
not include Africa, Asia or Europe - there is not much left,
only the Americas. And when this third is destroyed there is a
major shortage of grain -America is still the grain bowl of the
world; and the finance hub of the world goes to Babylon (being
rebuilt for the purpose) - America is at present the financial
hub of the world.

I am not saying this is what will happen but it looks very
suggestive to me:

What I suspect we are looking at is some sort of preemptive
nuclear strike on America which puts it out of the running - and
this would appear to be at the beginning of the last 3 1/2
years. I know Americans would find this to be an unpalatable
idea as they tend to see America as God's own country (in spite
of kids shooting their class mates). Such an attack would almost
certainly set off the earthquakes on the West coast that are
expected.

In all it doesn't bear thinking about.
