Ezekiel 1:10
"As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle."

As for the likeness of their FACES

6437 panah; a primitive root; to turn; by implication to face, i.e. appear, look, etc:--appear, at [even-] tide, behold, cast out, come on, x corner, dawning, empty, go away, lie, look, mark, pass away, prepare, regard, (have) respect (to), (re-) turn (aside, away, back, face, self), x right [early].

they four had the face of a MAN,

120 'adam; from 119; ruddy, i.e. a human being (an individual or the species, mankind, etc.):-- x another, + hypocrite, + common sort, x low, man (mean, of low degree), person.

and the face of a LION,

7794 showr; from 7788; a bullock (as a traveller):--bull (-ock), cow, ox, wall [by mistake for 7791].

7788 shuwr; a primitive root; properly to turn, i.e. travel about (as a harlot or a merchant):--go, sing. See also 7891.

7891 shiyr; shuwr; a primitive root [rather identical with 7788 through the idea of strolling minstrelsy]: to sing:--behold (by mistake for 7789], sing (-er, -ing man, -ing woman).

on the LEFT

8040 semo'wl or semo'l; a primitive word [rather perhaps from the same as 8071 through the idea of wrapping up]; properly dark (as enveloped), i.e. the north; hence (by orientation) the left hand:--left (hand, side).
